We bought Carrier equipment because of previous experience with the brand in our old house. We had both the air conditioner and furnace installed. When we moved to our new domicile we also had a new air conditioner and furnace installed. We did so because of performance and value. RJ Heating upon recommendation of several who used them and are very satisfied.

Yours truly,

We have lived in this house for 30 years. Both Carrier units, a 3 ton and 2-1/2 ton, were installed when the house was built. As you might imagine as we live in North Texas the units have seen quite a bit of use with the temperatures ranging to 110-115 degrees sometimes. In 1980 we had 63 days over 100 degrees—42 of them in a row. The units performed admirably throughout. The last few years a leak or two had developed somewhere in line connections or lines. Anyway, It was time to replace them. There are many competing brands and prices out there now but why mess with success? We have stuck by with Carrier and even though there are cheaper units out there, you get what you pay for. I am 56 years old and disabled. The last thing my wife and I need is more Air Conditioning headaches. We do not plan to replace these again.

Thank you,

Robert H.

Dear Carrier Company,

We live in a great part of the US, in California, just about the middle of the state and in between the beautiful Pacific beaches and majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range. Living here, you definitely experience each of the four seasons.

When we first moved into our home, 19 years ago, out air conditioner kept our family very comfortable every day. But as the years went by and as we had to have several trees removed from our yard, we found it took longer to cool the house to a comfortable temperature, especially for the nights. Sometimes in Sacramento, the air is so still, not a breath of wind is blowing. As this summer approached, we found that while our air conditioner was still working away for us, each and every day, it was working way too hard.

We contacted a local Carrier dealer and when he came out to give us an estimate on a new Carrier Performance air conditioner and a Carrier Performance furnace; he said that out air conditioner was actually working much better than most that he had seen. After checking our old equipment, we were surprised to learn that it was originally manufactured in the 1970's. For equipment that is used as much as we used it for our long, hot summer, 30 years of excellent service is incredible. We were immediately sold on replacing our old equipment with new Carrier equipment.

Our new equipment has cut our utility bills in half and then in half again as we became more familiar with the programmable thermostat. You have a great product and our family is living a very comfortable life, no matter that the temperature is outside.

THANKS CARRIER

Attached is our information regarding the demise and replacement of our loyal family friend, Carrier unit #38GF105-300. This unit was installed in our two-story home in 1982 and has kept us cool and comfortable in the hot Texas heat for more than 30 years.

Alas, all good things must come to an end and during the heat of July, 2005, our faithful unit gave up the spirit! We immediately called our long-time Carrier representative, Brenham Heating and Air. We never considered calling another company, distributor, or option. Royce Lehrmann and his staff have cared for us for many years, so there was nothing to do but call him and get his recommendations.

Within a week, our new unit was humming. Here's a picture of my husband, Roger, just before Old Faithful was removed and replaced with a wonderful new Carrier unit. He's giving the "thumbs up" for another Carrier!

Thanks for providing dependable, affordable, and energy-efficient new units...and for supporting long-time dealers like Brenham Heating and Air. It's a winning combination.

Thank you so very much for building and maintaining such a great line of products. You can be very proud of the Carrier name that you build and maintain. We recently replaced our 26+ year-old unit with a new more efficient heat pump. Yes, we switched to an all electric house. Want to hear something amazing our electric bill has not increased a noticeable difference. What does that mean to us, well since we no longer need to spend roughly 1000.00 dollars a year for propane we are saving 1000.00 dollars a year. Which means more to spend on our boys.

Thanks again.

I recently purchased a Carrier 38YXA Heat Pump to replace an outdated Day & Night system. My home was built in 1976 and the heat pump had been functioning until a cold snap in early December of 2005 here in Boise, Idaho. My compressor failed, and we were now relying only on the auxiliary heat. Knowing that we needed to replace our system, I began researching new products. We knew we wanted to go with the environmentally friendly refrigerant. Carrier's web page was very user friendly, and after receiving a few estimates, we decided on a local Carrier authorized heating and cooling company. We are quite pleased with our new heat pump and look forward to more efficient and lower energy costs. Enclosed are a photo of my 30 year old Day & Night air handler and a copy of my receipt of purchase.

Sincerely,

Erik B.

My old Carrier air conditioner was probably 40 years old—and never did we have one problem with it. It ran like a trooper and they (the Heating people) couldn't believe it was as old as it was—and with no previous problems for a product.

Thank you.

My father-in-law, in Panama City, Florida was a Carrier dealer so when our unit broke, naturally we replaced our old unit with a Carrier. Over the years, we have only had one problem, a small freon leak. This was fixed and it is still running well. Nevertheless, we decided to replace the unit with a larger Carrier.

When I decided to replace our 36 year old Carrier furnace with a high efficiency furnace, I chose Carrier because of the reliability of the previous system and the new Infinity System offered features I wanted from a new system. I looked at other brands, but felt most comfortable with using Carrier and working with my Carrier dealer. I wanted the best.

When I bought my home 10 years ago they told me the central air unit was very old and needed to be replaced. Much to my surprise, it kept going and going for 10 more years before finally giving up. When I asked friends and co-workers what brand of central air unit they would recommend, "CARRIER" was said over and over. Since I had proof in my 32 year old unit about Carrier's durability—the choice was easy. Thanks for making a great product!

We bought another Carrier Air Conditioner because this one survived 30 years and our secondary HVAC system, another Carrier Air Conditioner and furnace, have been going for almost 15. We researched Carrier and the competition and went for Carrier's 38TDB037 and 58MVP014 to get the greatest energy efficiency. It's a monster of an Air Conditioning unit but we're looking forward to cooler temperatures in the home (it's been over 35 degrees Celsius out side for much of the summer so far) and lower energy bills with this and the furnace we had installed with it.

We hope to get another 30 years out of this one. (We should for the price we paid!)

After 37 years of unparalleled reliable, faithful service, our Carrier WeatherMaker 58CA101-3 furnace was finally ready for retirement.

This was Carrier's initial 2-stage furnace—installed in August 1968—built like a battleship—cast iron burners, belt-drive blower, boiler-plate casing—still operating w/ initial gas valves & controls!!!

Best of all—NO problems during its long life—while providing excellent—as well as economical—comfort with the 2 heating stages.

However—considering today's rapidly escalating gas costs & our potential future house sale—it was time for a change.

The replacement Carrier Infinity 58MVB080-1 Variable Speed Furnace—with Infinity Control System—brings the latest electronics & furnace design technology. Smaller (16" shorter, 4" narrower)—yet ultra-quiet operation results—while providing highest efficiency for greatest gas & electric energy savings—as we also experience superior indoor comfort.

And wow—the user-friendly wonders & comfort creation from the Infinity Control System are amazing.

Any Dealer who sells an Infinity 58MVP/B Variable Speed Furnace without Carrier's Infinity Control System should be sued for malpractice.

Expertly Yours,

The Carrier Air Conditioning unit model no. 38GZ105310 serial no. J136363 was installed for the new house of my wife and I shortly before May 1972. The unit was about 33 1/2 yrs old and was still working. I thought it was best to replace it since the furnace had to be replaced.

I had excellent service from the Carrier unit with only minor repairs required from time to time. It still contained the original compressor.

The service by Brenham Heating & Air Conditioning Co. was prompt & efficient.

Considering the excellent service from the Carrier unit & the same from the dealer, it was easy to decide to buy & stay with the Carrier brand.

We are pleased and thankful that the Carrier unit lasted so long.

Sincerely,

This past summer we suffered a minor house fire. While the repairs were being made to the house, the workers had our Carrier air conditioner going full blast to make the hot summer days bearable. When we were able to move back into the house, I noticed that it just didn't seem to be as cool as it should be.

My wife and I figured that the added stress of the summer had finally been enough for our aging air conditioner. We estimated that the unit was probably 15 years old or so and figured that it had lived a good life. We called Roth Heating and Cooling, an Authorized Carrier dealer, to see if this unit could be repaired. Our friendly repairman explained that the compressor had failed and that the part was no longer available on this 30 year old model. My wife and I were shocked to hear the age of the unit and joked that the air conditioner was older than she.

There was little doubt that we would go with Carrier for our replacement unit. However, being someone who researched everything to the nth degree, I did my homework via the web and asked friends and family for recommendations. One brand was mentioned time and time again...Carrier. With no hesitation we called Roth Heating and Cooling back and worked with them to identify the right solution for us.

Ultimately, we chose the 38TXA036-3 model and look forward to another 30 years of cool summer days.

I purchased a new Carrier unit because they perform the best among all other brands, and they last very long!

I purchased a Carrier air conditioner because the original one in my home was 33 years old and it had lasted about 32 years. I purchased it (the new one) expecting it would give me years of service. Good lifetime I'd say.

Thank you.

We looked around and researched similar HVAC products, but after consistently reading great consumer reviews and knowing that our own Carrier had lasted over 30 years, it made simple sense to stick with a name we knew and a product that proved its outstanding quality and workmanship through the test of time.

Enclosed is the rebate forms for my new Puron Carrier air conditioner. I chose Carrier because our old system lasted for 34 years and was very well satisfied as my whole family only purchases Carrier air conditioners, right across the United States from the Eastern Coast of New York and Connecticut to the Western Coast of California in San Diego. Thank you very much for your kind consideration.

I had my 30+ year old Carrier air conditioner that was in working order replaced with a new Carrier air conditioner unit on 12/22/05. I was amazed to learn that my old unit was easily 30+ years and still providing comfort to my family and I. For this specific reason, I chose a new Carrier air conditioner to meet current energy efficiency requirements, and look for the same treatment from this new unit in comfort and savings. Thank you for a superior product.

Sincerely,

Why I bought Carrier.

It was time for us to replace both of our outdated heating and air systems. My first thought was to see what Carrier had to offer, since our existing Carrier systems had been installed for more than 35 years. I went to your website and was impressed with the Infinity control system, heat pump and piggyback furnace arrangements offered. The efficiency ratings were impressive. We have a split level house and attic space is extremely limited. Removal of the old systems and the new installations were a challenge. Southern Comfort Mechanical Services (Randy Williams—Owner) did a superb job with his recommendations and workmanship. So far I am extremely happy with our new 4 Ton system (downstairs) and the 2 ton on the upper level.

We are the proud and very satisfied owners of a beautiful Carrier Furnace that was installed at the time our home was built in 1935. It still functions very efficiently and, over the thirty years we have occupied the home, we have had no significant problems...just periodic routine servicing.

We are fortunate to have a lovely home and when guests ask for a little "tour" one of the highlights is always a trip to the furnace room to take in our furnace.

The service people marvel at its condition and, to a man, keep suggesting that we let the manufacturer know that the model still exists and is in wonderful working condition. None of them, including the most senior, has ever seen another one like it and therefore their encouragement that we let you know of its existence.

I am enclosing a few digital photos taken at various angles. the confines of the furnace room prevent a full picture, but the steel sheeting and plethora of chrome never cease to amaze people.

We just thought you might like to know that back in the depression years you manufactured a product that has really stood the test of time.

Sincerely,

Robert G.
