The original equipment gas furnace and air conditioning have served this home well since its installation on 11/24/1964 for the original owner family. I purchased my home in 1989 and continued to enjoy the benefits of these mechanical systems well into the new millennium. The rising cost of energy, however, necessitated their replacement with newer and dramatically more efficient systems this September of 2005. I use Carrier products for their superior reputation, elegant engineering, and…oh yes, my parents advised me to do so. They have used Carrier heat and air conditioning for 70 years. I am happy to state how satisfactorily our old Carrier Air Conditioner unit performed. It was virtually maintenance free, requiring only a couple of additions of coolant over the years. In fact, it was still working fine; the only reason we replaced the unit was that the heater was giving trouble and we wanted to replace the entire system.

My Carrier Model #38GR air conditioner was installed in my home in 1973 making it 32 years old. I’ve lived in my home for seven years and never had an issue with the Carrier unit. Although it worked well, its age was starting to show. So, when I decided to replace my furnace I knew I wanted to upgrade my air conditioner to a 13 SEER unit. After securing quotes and researching all of the best manufacturers in the industry, I found that Carrier offered the best quality/priced equipment and replaced bot the air conditioner and furnace with Carrier.

Dear Carrier,

My old Carrier Air Conditioning Model #38GC102320 and Carrier Electric Furnace were installed in 1972 (33 years ago) and has given me excellent service. Not until the spring of 2004 did I experience my first problem with the Air Conditioning unit. At that time the addition of ten ounces of gas allowed the unit to perform perfectly until the spring of 2005; this time the addition of 20 ounces of gas was needed and the unit provided another full summer of comfort.

When Carrier Air Conditioners provide so many years of trouble free service why should you install anything else. Davis Heating and Cooling just installed a new Carrier Model 38YDB036 Heat Pump for my home and I am looking forward to many years of excellent service.

My wife and I knew when we purchased our new home that in a few years we would need a complete system due to the age of the system in the house. We made it through the first, second, and third year with no problems. We had the system cleaned and serviced the second year and were having this done again the fourth year. However, the technician upon inspecction discovered that the heat exchanger might have a crack. This would allow Carbon Monoxide from the burning gas to enter my home.

We thought about replacing the system the third year however, since it passed inspection and was cleaned and serviced we put it off because the system worked so well. We decided to go with Carrier because another company was insisting that I install a heat pump I know nothing about. Their price for a comparable Lennox system was at a far greater price. This is our third home and every home system we have ever had is Carrier. So, with our knowledge and experience with Carrier systems there really was no alternative when you have grown to trust such a reliable system.

I have been very pleased with the performance of my old Carrier Air Conditioner, but when I was told that it was shot I looked to my existing service company for a recommendation for a replacement. The salesman for 1st choice Heating & Cooling, Wayne, recommended a new Carrier Air Conditioning unit and I trusted that he was selling me another good product. We were so happy with the first Carrier. It was the original with the home (built in 1963). We can only hope the new system will be able to last as long as the previous one! We were still using the older system, but we were afraid it would not last that many more years, also the older model was not that efficient ny today's standards. Looking forward to lower heating/cooling bills.

Although it seems impossible we have been enjoying our home for thirty years. Only yesterday it seems we were working with the builder to determine what air conditioning unit would go into our new home. We have never regretted the decision we made. We live in Southern Maryland, and in mid to late summer the heat and humidity drives most people inside or to the beach. We were always comfortable and to the amazement of my friends never had to have the unit serviced or repaired. My husband proactively cares for equipment and maintains items as directed in the vendor's manual. With the instructions provided and his annual maintenance routine, we have enjoyed comfortable temperatures throughout the summers, while our neighbors have replaced their non-Carrier units two or more times in the same timeframe. One by one we have noticed that Carrier units are showing up throughout the neighborhood. When we replaced our furnace, we decided to replace the air conditioner as well. No market research was needed we knew we would replace it with a Carrier unit. Thanks for making such dependable equipment.

The prices of natural gas are rising; it is time to replace the old heating system. We had an old Carrier (furnace and Air Conditioner) and there was no reason not to go with the new Carrier Infinity System as a replacement. Very high-efficiency of 96% should pay off quickly. Our old Air Conditioning by Carrier was working fine, but was replaced by much younger brother that came in the complete system.
