After 41 years of using and enjoying my Carrier Furnace, which by the way was still fully operational, I decided it was time to buy a new more efficient, space saving unit. I looked at other companies and their products, but finally decided to go with a tried and true Carrier unit. I am looking forward to the next 41 years of enjoying my new Carrier furnace, and I only hope I am still around to trade it in for a newer model.

Would I purchase anything but Carrier? Not a chance! After 37 years of faithful service “the old Carrie” finally gave up on August 8, 2007. It ran faithfully every summer since 1970 with only one “doctor’s visit.” In 1999, the fan motor gave out and had to be replaced. That’s not bad, is it?
The installers of the replacement unit were amazed that after so many years of sitting outside in the Midwest winters & summers, the housing was not corroded at all! “They don’t’ make them now like they to,” one of them said.

We purchased our home about 2 years ago, and our inspector told us he wasn’t sure how old the A/C was, but estimated about 35 years old. He proceeded to test it and was surprised at how well it ran and cooled. We would probably not have replaced it except for the fact that we wanted more efficiency, and didn’t want to get caught off-guard when it finally broke down. With that kind of durability and the efficiency of the new Carrier models, it seemed a no-brainer to get another Carrier.

My home’s previous HVAC system was a Carrier Weathermaker system installed in July, 1973 – 34 years ago! The system consisted of a model 58GA125 furnace and a model GR00431 A/C Condenser unit. I have been the homeowner for the past 16 years and did not incur a single service call on the system during that time period. So when it came time to replace my system, the only choice for me was Carrier. After reviewing all available models, I selected the Infinity MVB58 high efficiency (96%) furnace and the Infinity 24ANA7 (17SEER) A/C condensing unit. My son and I have allergies, so I also added the Infinity Air Purification System and the LFP Humidifier.
My system was professionally installed by Indoor Comfort of Itasca, IL and I have been extremely happy with the performance of my new Infinity system. I look forward to many years of dependable performance and lower utility bills. Thank you Carrier Corporation!

I thought that since any product, in this case, the original Carrier air-conditioner, that lasted almost forty years, that that product earned my trust. Therefore, I selected another Carrier air conditioner with the faith that I made a wise choice.

I would like to tell you how happy I am with Carrier! The units that were replaced were the original units in our home. They worked beautifully. This is the reason we have stayed with Carrier. The new central air unit is so quiet it is unbelievable! Thank you Carrier!!!

Hello! In November 2006, I bought the house that I currently live in. It still had the original Carrier furnace and air conditioning unit. During the home inspection, the gas furnace failed (the heat exchange was cracked) and was replaced by the then-present owners, but I had input as to what to install. Based upon the fact that this system was over thirty years old – the house was built in 1970 - it was a no-brainer to go with Carrier. I also requested to upgrade the furnace so a heat pump could be utilized and create a hybrid system. The heat pump was installed in March and so far, so good! We had some cold weather the remainder of March and April and I definitely could see a difference in my heating bills. I look forward to an efficient winter heating season, now that the new system is in place.

I installed my old Carrier Air Conditioner in June 1972, when I built my house. It gave me excellent service, which is why I wanted to replace it with the most efficient one on the market.

I have been happy with my 39 year Carrier Air Conditioner. On August 15, 2007, I had Stan Gelber & Sons, Inc. (on Long Island, NY) install my new Carrier Performance Air Conditioner. The new AC cools my house so fast I would purchase another one in 39 more years.

I was happy with my old Carrier equipment, and I’m sure I’ll be happy with the new Carrier equipment. Thank you!

My wife and I decided to replace our Carrier A/C in mid August 2007. We called four different heating and A/C dealers for an estimate. This is a very interesting thing to experience, as all sales people try to sell their product.
The reasons for replacement: our Carrier was installed in April of 1976, it has never been serviced. September 24, 2007 was a 90° day here in Oak Creek, WI. Our unit performed just fine, but I said a little prayer knowing how old this unit was.
The picture I sent was the day after my new Carrier was installed, and I first found out about the rebate. Thank you!
