August 7, 2012 – Carrier, the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, recently received a silver-level “Excellence in Design” award from appliance DESIGN magazine for its Carrier® Infinity® 20 heat pump with Greenspeed™ intelligence. This year marks the 25th year for the publication’s “Excellence in Design” awards. Products from 10 industry categories were evaluated, and the appliance DESIGN panel of judges selected the Carrier Infinity heat pump based on its innovation, simplicity, functionality, and other considerations, including optimized capabilities, environmental footprint and energy and cost savings.
