Carrier Corp. proudly presents the 2009 President’s Award to Schneider Heating Cooling Plumbing. Through their professionalism and high level of customer service, Schneider Heating Cooling Plumbing truly exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding contractor.

“We are quite pleased to win the Carrier 2009 President’s Award because it is a symbol of true commitment from all of our associates to customer care and satisfaction, explained Andrew Schneider, Vice President of Schneider Heating and Cooling.
From humble beginnings of a business started in 1963 by Andrew’s father and mother, Milton and Charlene Schneider, this newest President’s Award firm is proud to continue the tradition of customer care first and foremost by all of its employees.
Through the years, Schneider has experienced steady growth as manifested by the fact that they have outgrown their headquarters three times. Today, Schneider is headquartered in a modern 15,000 square foot office/warehouse in St. Charles, MO. Serving both residential and commercial customers, Schneider has 40 service trucks available with 24/7 service.
Loyal and dedicated associates have been another key to Schneider’s success, according to Charlene Schneider, who remains president of the company after her husband’s death in 2005.
“We have several key associates who have been with us over 25 years, including John Meilink, commercial service and boiler specialist (36 years); Andy Layton, service manager (31 years); and Tim Gummersheimer, installation manager (26 years), Mrs. Schneider concluded.
“We know how to treat people right and know the key to repeat business is beating customer expectations, adds Ron Blumenfeld, CFO and sales manager. “We have countless stories of doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Just to mention one story in particular, Andrew Schneider, who joined his father in 1992 and learned the business from the ground floor up as a warehouse man and then a service technician to now running the day-to-day operations, tells the story of how Schneider kept a Jewish congregation from having to cancel its “high holy days. It was quite warm one fall when Schneider received a call that the air-conditioning was not working as over a thousand congregants began their annual prayer service. A Schneider technician spent three hours on the roof of the synagogue during the entire service to make sure the air conditioning remained on so that the congregants could continue to pray in comfort.
“Uncompromising, superior service is what my father taught me, and it continues to be our company philosophy and the only way of doing business, along with offering the very best products on the market today, concluded Andrew.
"This year’s recipients have demonstrated excellence in all aspects of their business," said Michelle Caldwell, brand manager, Carrier Residential and Light Commercial Systems." They have achieved business growth through exceptional focus on exceeding their customers' expectations, and we are thrilled that they are representing the Carrier brand."
