For close to a century, Peterson Mechanical has been providing heating and cooling systems for commercial and residential customers and all across the North Bay. Peterson Mechanical is a leading HVAC, plumbing, process piping and architectural sheet metal project design and construction company. Our 24 hours/7 days a week Service Department of highly trained professional technicians will repair or replace most HVAC equipment. With Peterson’s equipment startup, we have installation backup warranty support and offer maintenance programs tailored to meet the needs of each individual customer.
Peterson Mechanical’s construction team includes mechanical engineers; CAD drafting personnel; project mangers; administrative assistants; plumbing, piping, and HVAC estimators; and over 80 field foremen and journeymen with extensive experience in all types of construction including fabrication, electronic assembly, laboratories, clean rooms, hospitals, wineries, schools, office buildings and detention facilities. The Engineering Department offers mechanical engineering services for new construction and retrofit design-build projects. Our engineering services include HVAC, plumbing and process piping drawings for permit; analysis of system alternative including environmentally-friendly “green” design by LEED Certified Engineers; diagnosing problems with existing systems; life-cycle cost analysis; equipment selection and Title 24 compliance.
Our office and shop facilities in Sonoma, California, are complete with the latest computer network system and wireless Internet connection. The CAD department is using AutoCAD 2008 CAD Duet, CAD Mechanical and QuickPen software for designing and detailing the various mechanical systems. This information is transferred to our production department utilizing the most current metal fabrication equipment including computerized plasma layout and cutting processes. Peterson participates regularly in both plan and specification and design / build projects which enables our estimators to be current with the latest market conditions and material pricing for the most competitive bid proposals.
