Carrier Corp. proudly presents the 2009 President’s Award to N&M CoolToday. Through their professionalism and high level of customer service, N&M CoolToday truly exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding contractor.
N&M CoolToday is a company which has transformed itself from its original start in 1963. We began serving the Sarasota/Bradenton area installing and replacing oil furnaces, prior to the air conditioning and heat pump boom of the 70’s and 80’s. N&M was considered a premier provider of heating services to many local residents and snowbirds alike. Our reputation for providing fast responsive service 24 hours/7 days a week kept us going through very tough times during the past FOUR decades.
Acquired by Jaime DiDomenico in 2004, N&M is rebranding itself to reflect a 21st century reality. We have to be the best, very reliable, and be Green. Today’s businesses and homeowners expect instantaneous service, a feat that is challenging in the in-home service business. As energy prices soar, and it becomes more evident that man’s need for energy is affecting our environment, N&M has made it part of its mission to help customers save money, go green, and save the environment.
In 2007, N&M CoolToday/Patten’s Plumbing Today became Sarasota “Green Business” certified. By participating in this program, N&M is abiding by strict rules in recycling, renewing, and managing the business to be as environmentally sensitive as possible. This certification is merely a beginning of our challenge. Over the next several years, N&M will strive to raise the efficiency of its fleet by 25%, move to a paperless platform, and leverage its vendors to adopt green policies.
Also in 2007, we added electrical services and merged with a distinguished plumbing company, Patten’s Plumbing. Patten’s Plumbing started in 1983 and has been serving Southwest Florida as a premier provider of all aspects of residential and commercial plumbing.
By incorporating air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing under one company umbrella, we now have the capability to advise clients on HOW to save energy, how much they will save, and provide a clear payback and verification of energy savings. We now provide efficient cooling, heating, clean air in the home, clean water to the home, and efficient hot water.
Our goal to provide all of these products and services for our customers has been made easier with our commitment to provide the very best products in the market. In air conditioning, that is Carrier. By marketing and selling Carrier high-end products, we have earned a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer status and recently achieved the greatest compliment from Carrier…the President’s Award.
Since 1963, N&M CoolToday/Patten’s Plumbing Today has been challenging itself to assist our customers in saving money, being comfortable, healthy and safe. Our pledge of delivering fast reliable service will be done TODAY, the Green Way!
