2012 President’s Award Spotlight
Carrier Corp. proudly presents the 2012 President’s Award to Newcomb and Company. Through their professionalism and high level of customer service, Newcomb and Company truly exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding contractor.
Newcomb and Company was founded in 1954 by Charles A. “Bo” Newcomb. Bo started the company to primarily sell and service residential HVAC systems, but the Company has now grown to become a full service mechanical contractor covering the residential, commercial, and industrial fields for the Triangle and Wilmington sectors of North Carolina.
Our business began with a telephone on a utility pole while our 1,500 square foot building in Raleigh was being constructed. Since our humble beginnings, we outgrew that building and now our Raleigh operations are conducted from a 70,000 square foot facility. We currently have a successful branch in Wilmington, over 200 employees company wide, and we are continuing on a path of dynamic growth and expansion.
We are committed to providing innovative services to our customers. Newcomb and Company technicians receive hands-on experience with the latest tools, technologies, regulations and rating systems at our state-of-the-art training center. This means our teams can provide trusted advice to our customers regardless of the size or type of project.
We have recently announced the expansion of our plumbing department to our customers and we are excited to provide a wider range of professional services to our customers.
