The founder’s previous HVAC experience was primarily commercial, but he saw opportunity in the residential add-on, replacement and service business. Climate Control, established in 1989, now focuses on this type of work both in the residential and commercial marketplace. By focusing on long term relationships through planned maintenance and high quality service, the company has established a large and loyal customer base. With this specific focus, the company can consistently achieve high standards of execution and performance. Customer satisfaction surveys along with follow up contacts provide valuable input into satisfying the customer’s needs. Climate Control takes pride in achieving the leadership position as distinguished by Carrier Corporation for high efficiency equipment sales and service in their territory.
The company’s philosophy of providing high quality services is achieved through continuing education for all company personnel. All installation and service technicians are N.A.T.E. certified to ensure a consistent level of technical expertise. Many of the employees are long term and have been with the company for over a decade; others since its inception.

Located in Tigard, Oregon, Climate Control serves all of the Portland metropolitan area with a focus on the greater west side. A computerized customer database provides accurate tracking of customer records, equipment history and current / future scheduled maintenance appointments. This system helps to assure Climate Control proactively handles the customer’s needs and is ready to serve them on an ongoing basis.
